Today’s 9–Harold Baines page 3

I keep my White Sox collection by players last name. When that player reaches 9 cards (a page), they get a post in the Today’s 9 series. I just recently moved all my cards into alphabetical order so most of these posts are just catching up and making sure everybody get’s their due.

Card back info –

“At the plate, Baines, the definition of a “pro,” has hit 10+ HR’s in 17 straight seasons.  His .305 AVG since turning 34 is the highest of any 4 year period in his career.  In the clubhouse, his longevity and production are an inspiration” – 1997 Topps Finest Warriors

“The smooth-swinging Baines belted 10 career walk-off home runs, including a blast that ended the longest game ever played in the Major Leagues.  On May9, 1984 against Milwaukee, he connected in the bottom of the 25th inning, after more than eight hours.” – 2005 Donruss Diamond Kings

“Harold ranked #5 in hits with 198, #6 in Batting Avg. with .309, #7(tie) in GW-RBI with 13 and #9 in Total Bases with 299.” – 1986 Topps mini

Cards in Sox uniform that I own currently – 27

I had already done the Baines pages but I added a bunch from trades and finished another page, so here it is.  I added 4 cards which made an exact 9 for this page.  Not much back info as most of the cards list stats and he’s played many years filling up the backs.
