Another Yaz

One card today. I've seemed to have picked up quite a few Yastrzemski's lately. That's 5 already in the last month or so. I know that doesn't sound like a lot but I have been collecting his cards since 2013 and only have 38 so you can see, I don't usually pick them up at this rate unless I do a COMC or Just Commons purchase.


As I said up above, I had 38 cards, this is the 39th of Yaz. It's from the 1983 Topps Glossy send in cards that you got, I want to say, either collecting wrappers or an insert they put in the packs, I don't remember which but I'm leaning on the insert. I picked this up for $.25/shipped. I've seen most (I thought all) of these All-Star set cards but this one doesn't look familiar at all.

    Much like the Topps Toys R Us sets from the 80's, one day I'd really like to go back and grab all of these Topps Glossy Send In sets and throw them into a binder. Very cool inserts from my childhood.
