Card Room

I got a little time tonight before I head to bed at a decent time. I have to get up earlier because our card show is in Kalamazoo and we're getting a little snow so we have to build in some extra time to get there. Plus the show starts at 9 (most of them start at 10). KZoo isn't getting any snow that I'm aware of so we're hoping to drive out of it in the morning.

Just after Christmas, I mentioned that I was moving into my son's old room as he got his own place. I've been in it now for 3 weeks or so and these photos were taken not long after I moved in. I'm not going to go into great detail but it'll give you a glimpse into my new room.

My desk which used to be my grandfathers, the chair too. I'm noticing in this pic that the hugeness of my desk makes my TV look really small. The small desk to the left is where I stack my incoming sorting and then I generally use the empty space next to it to do the sorting.

My shelves with a mixture of Michigan, White Sox and Pop Culture with some family stuff.

I took the closet doors off and hung my hat rack in there, then I decided to grab my baseball jerseys because I don't wear them often so why not display them.

The 2 posters on the left are both filled with autographs. The top one from the 2012 football season which I got back when they did fan days. The bottom from the 2013-14 season of women's basketball that my daughter got when she went to basketball camp. The one of the right is the poster from the 2013 season.

I took all my White Sox cards out of the dresser that I used to keep them in and bought some 5 row boxes and put them out on top of the shelves. The first row towards the desk are the cards that I need to put away in the boxes or the binders, from there to the right, they are all alphabetical with most of the letters separated with space between them.

Obviously my binders of all my player collections, one square of magazines and old Michigan calendars (I get a new one every year that I hang in my office) and other publications that are collection related. A Michigan helmet (not a real one) and a pair of Michigan Jordan's.

Sorry about the word verification, but blogger sucks at filtering out the comments as of late. As bad as their last update is.
