I did get one envelope today with one card, or should I say, sticker. It's another addition to the Mike Schmidt collection.
I was able to nab this 1987 Topps Sticker for $.25/shipped. I used to do the sticker books back when I collected as a kid. This was the last one that I did so I do remember these so I was excited to win it.
I'm looking forward to going over 7,000 cards on My Personal Collections blog (gallery) this weekend. I don't get to much done during the week but I usually get a lot done on the weekends so I'm hoping this weekend follows suit.
Welcome
This blog is about sports cards. I tend to only purchase cheap items so don't come hear expecting to see big money cards. My teams collections are Chicago White Sox and Michigan Wolverines. I also have a bunch of player collections.

Blog Plug
Sam over at the Daily Dimwit is holding a contest and I, for one, want a chance at the prize. Sam and I have traded a few times but it was years ago, back when I had cards to trade and traded with fellow bloggers. So whether you need a good trade partner, or just need another great Baseball Card blog to read, go check him out here or click on the banner above and start following him.
Mike Schmidt additions
I actually got this envelope yesterday, but I posted other cards over at TMM so make sure you go and check those out, then come back here for today's cards.
These 3 cards all came in the same envelope from the same seller which you probably would have guessed since they are all Mike Schmidt cards and they are all from 1988.
The top 2 Score cards I got for $.22/shipped each and the 1988 Donruss for $.17/shipped. These 3 cards put the Mike Schmidt Collection at 98 cards, almost to the century mark.

Sox Prospects
I got 3 cards in 3 different envelopes today but I'm only going to show 2 today. I'm waiting on one other coming in the mail and I'll show that one along with the one I'm not showing today. I picked up a couple of Chicago White Sox cards for the Sox Collection.
This is a die cut card, it doesn't show it as well as I'd like but you get what you get. This card of Chris Snopek is a 1996 Upper Deck Future Stock Prospects comes to me for $.17/shipped. If I remember correctly, he was supposed to replace Robin Ventura but never really panned out. That seems to happen a lot with prospects in our system. Let's hope that trend doesn't continue with our make over this season.
This came up on my search for under a $.25 with free shipping and since it was an auto, I went ahead and put $2 on it. Luckily, it only took half of that to bring it home. I got it for $1.04/shipped. He was alright as a Sox starter but he found his niche coming out of the bullpen for other teams, even had a number of years as a decent closer.

Cereal Classic Card
I got one card today but it's a good one. I love getting these oddball cards from the 80's and 90's because I used to buy any product that had baseball cards in them. I didn't care what the product was, I wanted the cards.
Although, technically, I don't know if I originally had this one because I wasn't collecting in 1990 but I know I would have if I was. This 1990 Post card of Cal comes to me for $.25/shipped.
