Welcome

This blog is about sports cards. I tend to only purchase cheap items so don't come hear expecting to see big money cards. My teams collections are Chicago White Sox and Michigan Wolverines. I also have a bunch of player collections.

Packs pick-up - 2015 Topps MLB Chipz

I did pick up a pack of 2016 Topps yesterday that hopefully I will get scanned in the next few days to show those off.

This was the last of the packs I picked up last month. They have a discount box with packs in it and these packs were at $1 a pack so I picked up 5 of them.

  • Jose Altuve (Astros)
  • Sonny Gray (A's)
  • Gapper (Reds)

  • Stephen Strasburg (Nationals)
  • Craig Kimbrell (Gold) (Braves)
  • Jason Kipnis (Indians)

  • Jose Bautista (Blue Jays)
  • Billy Hamilton (Reds)
  • Adam Wainwright (Cardinals)

  • Chase Utley (Phillies)
  • Wally the Green Monster (Red Sox)
  • Jeff Samardzija (A's)

  • Max Scherzer (Blue) (Tigers)
  • Phillie Phanatic (Blue) (Phillies)

  • Mariner Moose (Green) (Mariners)

  • Sonny Gray (Red) (A's)
  • Pablo Sandoval (Red) (Giants)

  • Jay Bruce (Magnetic) (Reds)
  • Wally the Green Monster (Magnetic) (Red Sox)
  • George Springer (Magnetic) (Astros)

All are available for trade. I do like these chipz, I can't really tell you why. I do like and play poker when I can but I don't think that's the reason I enjoy these. I didn't get any White Sox or player collections in these 5 packs so they are all available. Let me know if you would like one and I will get it out PWE when I can.

New Additions - Paul Konerko Collection

*For those new to the blog, all purchases were made on Ebay (unless otherwise noted) and all were under $.50/shipped.

I'm listing Ebay stuff but also I got a package from Bru over at Remember the Astrodome so you'll see assorted stuff from him as well. He was originally going to hook me up with some 1984 Topps (which he did) but he ended up sending a bunch more vintage as well as some White Sox needs. I'll be randomizing the posts like I did the last bunch.

Only 1 Konerko this round but I love the black border cards, especially with White Sox players because it's one of their prime colors. The Paul Konerko Collection is by far the largest of my player collections, it has 368 cards and is over 80 more than the Tom Seaver Collection which has 286 cards and is my 2nd largest player collection.

In case you're interested, the reason I pretty much always post pics of single cards is because of these 2 blogs that I use to store my cards. My Personal Collections (now with over 2300 cards) and My Baseball Card Obsession (now with over 2500 cards and almost 900 different card labels).
