Weekend Catch-Up
I picked up this White Sox Collection card for a whopping $.01/shipped. You read that right, a penny. I didn't have it so I put my usual $.50 bid on it hoping that it didn't come to that because I didn't really want to pay that much so I elated to get it at a penny. It is my 10th card of Hillegas.
This is my 10th of Frazier, 9 of them are a part of the White Sox collection. This came to me for $.35/shipped.
I probably already have this but I didn't have it logged on TCDB so I bought it anyways. I still have a few boxes of cards that I have to log in but I'm still trying to get caught up on the ones I've blogged about. I picked up this card of Fox for $.36/shipped. It is my 8th card of Nellie.
I picked up these 2 auto's from the same seller. I thought I already have the Meaux (I have a bunch of his auto's) but this was numbered to /93 so I didn't. I got the Meaux for $1.99/shipped, it is my 5th auto out of 14 cards. That doesn't include the dupe autos that I have. This is only my 2nd Russell and it came to me for $1.49/shipped. This card is a 2008 and the other Russell card is from 2004 which doesn't bode well considering it's over 10 years later and I wasn't sure I had heard of him before.
This is my 98th different card of Zimmy so I'm closing in on the century mark. I picked up this relic for $2.55/shipped. It is also my 8th relic of Ryan Zimmerman
We got back from camping this afternoon so this was a quick post to get the incoming cards caught up that came in over the weekend. Hopefully I'll have the cards Dennis sent me all ready to go by the time I get a day that I get no envelopes in the mail.

Lots of cards
It's a big post, so let's get to it.
I picked up this 1988 Topps All-Star Glossy of Mike Schmidt for $.25/shipped. It is my 101st card of Schmidt. I remember these coming in the cello rack packs back then. I probably had most of them for a few years.
I also picked up this 1993 Fleer Ultra of Jim Abbott for $.25/shipped. He's in the worst uniform that I like to see him in (the first being a Michigan uni). I'm surprised this card didn't go for $3.00 just because it was a Yankee card.
These 4 cards all go to the White Sox collection. I picked up 4 of the 1991 O-Pee-Chee Premier (3 above, 1 below) and what I didn't realize was that put me only 1 card away from completing that team set (Tim Raines). I picked up the above 3 for $.10/shipped each and the Ryan Meaux for $.15/shipped.
I picked up these Panini Cooperstown's for $.18/shipped and $.20/shipped. They are both Panini Cooperstown but one is from 2012, the other 2013. These 2 cards put the Steve Carlton Collection at 81 cards.
I grabbed this 1986 Sportflics of Gary Carter for $.20/shipped. This card puts the Gary Carter collection at the century mark with 100 cards.
Here's the other 1991 O-Pee-Chee Premier card I mentioned above. This card goes to the Carlton Fisk Collection as well as the White Sox Collection. I got this card for $.23/shipped. It is my 147th card of Fisk.
I actually already had this card, when I bid on it, it looked familiar but my page said I didn't have it so I went ahead and threw the quarter on it. Then remember I got the whole rainbow of refractors of this card in one trade. Oops. I did end up only paying $.15/shipped so there is that.
I don't have to many post White Sox card of Buehrle, I have some with the Jays but his was my first with Miami so this was a nice grab. Especially for only $.23/shipped. This card is my 185th card of Mark Buehrle.
I also picked up this Jim Abbot for $.10/shipped. This Abbott, along with the one above, make 88 card for the Abbott Collection.
I got this other playing card (different set) only this time of Barry Larkin for $.10/shipped and the 1993 Leaf for $.11/shipped. These 2 cards put the Barry Larkin Collection at 114 cards.
I even managed to get an Aparicio this time around and for only $.20 but apparently I didn't check my lists because I already have it. So if you want it, let me know. JediJeff has first dibs if he wants it but if he doesn't, it's up for grabs.
I also managed a Konerko which is rare as well. This one came to me for $.16/shipped. Maybe it was cheap because it's an unlicensed card. Either way, this is my 409th card of Paulie.

Vacation Pick-Ups #6–Autos and Relics
Even with all the awesome vintage I picked up (and you haven’t even seen it all), I did manage to find some cheap White Sox autos and relics.
I was pumped to get the Brent Lillibridge autograph. I really liked him when he played for us. He played everywhere and always gave 110%. I have a few of Ryan Meaux autographs, I think he was supposed to be a stud at some point but never hit it big.
I grabbed thie Sergio Santos relic card because it has the vintage blue pinstripe jersey swatch. I love the old jerseys. And the Jim Thome relic because he was an all around good guy and it’s a pretty cool looking card.
Stay tuned tomorrow and I’ll start showing the Vacation Pick-Ups for the Vintage Collection.

Cheap ebay pick-ups
Just a couple of quick ebay pick ups I’ve gotten this week.
Tom Seaver – 1987 Topps ($.20/shipped)
Dave Dravecky – 1990 Pacific Legends collection ($.46/shipped)
Jack Egber – 2008 Bowman Signs of the Future auto ($1.74/shipped)
And now that I’m checking to see what I paid for each of the cards, the Arnie Munoz actually belonged with the lot below that I purchased from the same seller.
7 auto’s and 1 relic (14.98/shipped) = $1.88/card
So a huge boost to my Sox auto cards, hopefully by the time I post this post, I’ll have my numbers up on the above right updated. But don’t count on it. It’s a really cool box to have and a great way to keep track of my collections, but I get so behind because I tend to wait forever to update it. Then I have a crap load of cards to add. Right now I have about 6 or 7 posts to type out and still a couple more to scan because I tend to wait. One of these days I’ll get my crap together. Maybe.

Trade with Sluggo
As I have mentioned in a few posts, I traded with my cousin to get some trade bait and he also sent me some White Sox cards. He does card shows and was looking for some Braves and Rays cards to sell so I sent those his way. Here is some of what he sent me for my PC.
And of course, since he’s a Notre Dame fan and he knows how big of a Michigan fan I am. He sent me this.
He was good at ND, at least in football, not so great with the Cubs. The above card is definitely for trade, or a flame, whatever comes first.
