twjcards:<br /><br />He’s certainly not the first non-pitcher to pitch in a big league contest, and most likely will not be the last. But seeing Adam Dunn take the pitcher’s mound on Tuesday night was nothing short of fantastic. I remember watching Doug Dascenzo on WGN pitch for the Cubs when the game was out-of-reach (four different times, actually!), and recall Reds shortstop Davey Concepcion tossing a few pitches in a 1988 game. And who can forget Jose Canseco’s “masterful” performance 60 feet and 6 inches away from where he made a name for himself? <br />Dunn’s official pitching record is 1 IP, 2 H, 1 BB, 1 ER.
