Blue Pauls

Since the Sox aren't playing today, the random decided to go ahead and show some Sox cards. At least it's of my favorite Sox player of all time.

I picked this up at the LCS in their dime box. It's PK and some other guy. This card gives me 578 cards of the other guy even though I don't have a PC of him. Lots of years with the Sox plus he played in the 90's where they produced a crap ton of cards and inserts.

I also picked up these 2 of PK at the Shipshewana card show in the dollar boxes. The top card is the blue version and is numbered to /900. The bottom is a refractor, also numbered but to /699. Some pretty good finds I think.

These 3 cards give me 712 cards of Konerko. He's my 2nd highest PC and is only the 2nd player I have over 700 cards of.

I'm not going to talk about my team because we suck right now but it's baseball season so we want to see baseball cards so the random popped up with a guy who didn't play for the Sox.

It is only one card but it's numbered. I grabbed this out of the dollar box at Shipshewana. This is my 3rd variation of this card but it's the only one serial numbered. Plus it's 3 pictures on 1 card

This 1 card gives me 692 cards of Barry.

LuBob Gone, For Now

I mentioned our injury issues in my last non-birthday post and while I was set up at a card show today, I got an alert on my phone that Eloy is now hurt. This is getting ridiculous. Hopefully today's guy will be back soon.

Remember when I said that I went through Sluggo's White Sox cards and pulled cards I needed. This was a big portion of it. The top 2 scans are the reason I was working today's show for free, and half the next show we do. The bottom 2 were give me's so I didn't pay for them.

These 19 cards put my Robert collection at 70 cards. A far cry than what I would have guessed I would have been a year ago when I had trouble finding his cards at a decent price. Maybe the injuries will help his collection.
