Welcome

This blog is about sports cards. I tend to only purchase cheap items so don't come hear expecting to see big money cards. My teams collections are Chicago White Sox and Michigan Wolverines. I also have a bunch of player collections.

Last Larkins

Well lucky you, the random decided to stick to the Barry Larkin train. This is the last post of his for this round. Like I said yesterday, that doesn't mean there isn't more to come in the next round. The last post for him are closer to his first years though.

It's not rookies but 2nd year. That would be the Fleer Glossy and the Topps Big. Not a fan of the Big cards just because of their size.

1989 not oddballs, but not base. The Donruss is a Baseballs Best, the Fleer is another Glossy. A couple from Score, 100 Hottest Players and Scoremasters and a Topps Sticker back. Orel Hershiser is the sticker for all you Dodgers fans out there.

On to 1990 with more non base. A Donruss Best of NL, one of the many Fleer mini box sets. A playing card and a Topps coin.

Starting the 1991's with a Line Drive collect-a-book and a Jimmy Dean card.

Another Score 100 Superstars and our first base card. Apparently I didn't have the 1991 Donruss.

2 different Bowman's before they became glossy. The miniature Topps is a Cracker Jack card and the even minier is the Micro of his All-Star card.

The last year in this post starts off with a 1992 Classic and a Donruss McDonalds.

Some black bordered 1992's with a Fleer Ultra All-Star and a Leaf Black Gold. I don't really remember either one of these sets/subsets/inserts/parallel. Whatever they are.

Apparently I didn't have any of the Score 100 Superstars as here is the one from 1992 along with a Panini Sticker. I don't remember those stickers at all either.

In the Topps portion, we have lots of parallel's up there. A Gold and a couple of Gold Winners, and both of the Micro's. Plus a Topps Kids and the Bowman.

Lastly, the Upper Deck. The base looking one is a Gold Hologram parallel and an All-Star Fanfest. The team MVP Hologram is another cool card, almost got the scan perfect like yesterdays but the background is a little blurry.

With all the Larkins in this round (239 cards), it moved up his collection to 491 cards. I'm closing in on that 500 mark and I'm pretty sure I'll hit it with the next round. Maybe Barry will even get in my top 5 player counts. He's #6 after this round.
