Welcome

This blog is about sports cards. I tend to only purchase cheap items so don't come hear expecting to see big money cards. My teams collections are Chicago White Sox and Michigan Wolverines. I also have a bunch of player collections.

I’m collecting the 1981 set, slowly but surely. This post is the latest in my quest for the completion.

  • On the back (toon, bottom left) – Holds nearly every offensive record at Seton Hall University.
  • On the back (toon, bottom right) – Threw 13 Touchdown passes as a high school senior.
  • Drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 1st round (7th pick) of the 1975 amateur draft.

  • Born in Newark, NJ

I only remember him from the Yankees.  Not sure why a team would get rid of you 3 different times.  I would think there was a reason they did the 1st time, let alone the 2nd.  I like the helmet on this card.  I remember collecting a bunch of those when I was young.

  • Cards posted in this set – 23
  • Total price paid – $1.69
  • Average price per card – $0.07
  • Cards left to post – 704
